Thanks, as always Brooke. You are the only voice on all of this I’m currently subscribed to (in any form). I feel as though you are authentic and real, trustworthy and so inspiring, and I’m personally very grateful for all that you share with the world. I’ve only just got around to listening to your final Slow Home podcast, and I’m sorry to hear about your health issues. I’m so happy to hear you’re still continuing with podcasting, albeit in a different format! Xxx
Thank you Brooke for the reminder and nudge of how simple yet important diaphragmatic breathing is. It got me thinking about how I often give a big sigh to release tension and do this without thinking - like my body already knows what I need. Love the huge sighs my dog gives as well 😀
And, I am thrilled to hear about your tomatoes!! I’ve had a bumper crop here in the Adelaide hills but definitely later than usual. Hope you get a few more sunny days to ripen the rest of those vines ☀️
Yes! Sighing is so cool - apparently we do it automatically when the alveoli in our lungs aren't inflating enough. I try to keep an eye out for it too, as a reminder to take a few deep breaths. (Our bodies are amazing aren't they?!)
SO happy to know you're having a great (if late) tom season too. We're definitely not drowning in tomatoes, but it's been so nice to have them. Enjoy your bounty!
I kid you not, I listened to this on the way to work as my car appeared to breakdown (turned out to be a simple fix thank goodness) I'd already had a hectic morning, grabbed breakfast as I ran out the door...in short, this was the 'stop' I needed to hear this week. Thank you!
I'm fully on board with the 1% and love the idea of something as simple as legs up diaphragmatic breathing. No need to beat myself up for not doing a full yoga session.
Lovely to hear these read out, really appreciate the audio version.

Thanks for breaking this down into something simple and easy!
No worries Maureen - I'm glad it was helpful! 😊
